President-elect of Argentina, Alberto Fernández has announced his plans to legalise abortion after his swearing-in which is set to hold on Tuesday, 10 December, 2019. “I would like that the debate is not one between progressives and conservatives, revolutionaries and traditionalists. Post-Election Violence: Thugs reportedly burn Kogi PDP women leader to death

Shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of Kogi governorship election, political thugs continued on their killing spree. According to reports from Kogi, the woman leader of Wada Aro Campaign Council, Ochadamu Ward, Hon Mrs Acheju Abuh was reportedly burnt alive in her home by alleged jubilant supporters and thugs said to be celebrating their party’s victory. Senator Aliyu Abdullahi, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate, has denied claims that the controversial Hate Speech bill that was recently introduced into the senate for deliberation and possible enactment, is meant to pave way for President Buhari’s alleged third term agenda. Man opens fire in strip club after his debit card is declined for a Lap Dance (Photo)

    A man allegedly opened fire at a strip club parking lot after his debit card got declined while paying for a private lap dance  67-year-old James Allen Wells arrived at the Porsches Theatre of Arts strip club around 11 p.m. Friday night in Waterloo. After his debit card was declined, Wells left the club and pulled out a 38 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver then opened fire, according to The Courier. He shot multiple cars which included a Chevrolet Impala, Dodge Durango, and a Chrysler Town then fled the scene, the report said. The gunman escaped in his vehicle when police came for him. They attempted to stop him but he kept going, leading on to a high-speed chase. During the high-speed chase, Wells crashed his vehicle into a curb and was then arrested shortly after. Naked emaciated lady seen in Ajah is unrecognizable in new photos after being rehabilitated

Remembere the naked emaciated lady found in Ajah with rumours flying around that she was thrown out of a moving car? (read  here ) She has been rehabilitated and now looks healthy. The woman, whose name has been given as Ene, was seen in October at Jubilee Bridge, Ajah. She had no clothes on and was so skinny, her bones were prominent. Different people gave differing accounts of how she came to be found at the bridge (read  here ). As her story went viral, help came in the form of a kind Nigerian woman who rushed her to the hospital and got her medical treatment (read  here ). One month after, Ene is recovering and looks way better than she did only weeks ago. See more photos below.

Former banker, Nsa Ayi jailed 7 years for N700m fraud

Nsa Ayi, a former relationship officer, Coronation Merchant Bank, has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment for diverting clients N700 million meant for Federal Government bonds, treasury bills and fixed deposits. He was sentenced today by Justice Mojisola Dada of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, Lagos. The convict, who was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on February 26, 2018, on an 11-count charge, was accused of altering instructions and falsifying signatures of customers to transfer money into various accounts outside the bank. The money was allegedly transferred in tranches into his Guaranty Trust Bank account No. 0001600855 as well as his Zenith Bank account No. 1002771899. Delivering her judgment today, the judge sentenced him to seven years imprisonment on each count of the charge. The sentences are to run concurrently from the day of arrest.
